Here is Margaret, the smallest giraffe ever born in a zoo.
Love at first sight. She is a premi and was having trouble trying to suckle so the zoo keepers made sure she got a good start in life. She weighed in at seventy-five pounds and is five foot tall.
It didn't take her long to find out what to do.
Wobbly legs but having a helper made a big difference. Lessons in love, pictures and stories that delight us and give us hope . . . not everyone is a 'bad-guy'. We have more good folks ready and willing to lend a hand.
So today, be a lending hand, get on the electronic line and let your family and friends know that you are available. Take a big buttermilk donut over and join someone for coffee this morning. Take the dog for a run, or let the cat in and out a dozen times to show who is boss; Oscar are you listening? As for our Emma, that beautiful Golden Lab, who now attends obedience class and slowly getting the message, run between the rain drops and enjoy the rub down when you get back inside. Enjoy your today, a God day, a day to relax but not before you feed the birds. I see more of them on the wire overlooking the back yard, so spring is almost here. Hugs to all.
