A Shamrock To You

Here she is Maxine, one of my favorite ladies, with a greeting for St. Patrick's Day. There is a huge parade in New York today and early this morning there was a group called 'The Celtics' (pronounced Keltics, they said) singing on television. Two of the men came from Scotland but by the blend of their voices they were truly Irishman.
Oh she is not nice . . . there are no 'snakes' in any office I worked in, maybe a skunk or two, but their smell gave you a bit of notice.

Yes, wear some green today, you don't want to be pinched. I wonder who thought that one up.

If you want your party to be alive then invite an Irishman or two and you will hear tales of the little people and drink green beer as you garner your courage to do a jig or two.

She is right and you will enjoy every minute of it.

Corn beef and cabbage, carrots, potatoes, rutabaga, turnip, parsnip and white onions . . . a veritable feast . . . leave enough corn beef for a sandwich or two.
So today, celebrate the Irish in you, be it true Irish or adopted Irish for the day. Get out there and join a few of the folks at a bar and order a green beer. Stop for an Irish dinner and don't forget lamb stew is really one of the best dishes on a menu. Relax, eat and be merry, and get up now and then and do a little jig and remember to laugh out loud. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL, along with a hug and a smile.

If you do find a four leaf clover, send it my way, I can always use a bit of Irish luck.
